We work with designers and shipyards that integrate reusable and sustainable technology reducing environmental impact using innovating reduced-zero carbon propulsion systems.
Your GYW project manager will work closely with the buyer throughout the new build process, acting as a liaison between all parties involved, to ensure efficiency, adherence to specifications and timely delivery. As the Buyer Representative, we will put the Super/Mega-Yacht vision into a brief, select the right shipyard and negotiate favorable contract terms. Clients may have a shipyard in mind, or GYW can provide a builder’s shortlist, based on key requirements. GYW also works closely with the selected design team to ensure design proposals meet the buyer’s vision.
The GYW New Build Team will provide technical consultation throughout the design and construction phase until completion of the delivery sea trials and documentation of the vessel. Following delivery and vessel documentation, GYW will be available to coordinate the execution of necessary guarantee works and always keep in mind the buyer’s best interests.
Working with the Buyer Throughout the New Build Process. From design to delivery, the GYW team will work closely with the buyer through every step of the new build process, to ensure efficiency, cost effective and according to the buyer’s exact preferences.
The Concept. Our team of experts will help you articulate your vision and put together a comprehensive and thorough brief to create and present your yacht to the designer and builder. GYW’s team’s insights regarding the vessel’s technical and operational requirements, as well as its market potential, will help the buyer better identify what it is they are looking for and what features to include, depending on the intended use of the yacht.

Formulating the Contract. As soon as the shipyard has been selected, GYW will assist you throughout the negotiations and contract phase. This phase is the most critical step for a successful project, the GYW new build team will provide feedback on the Super/Mega-Yacht specifications, general arrangement, and the contract. Key contractual elements, such as budget allowances, environmental impact, noise and vibration levels, delays, penalties and more, will be diligently negotiated with the shipyard.
Design. Working closely with the selected design team, GYW will make sure all yacht design proposals are in line with the buyer’s vision, functional for its purpose at sea, and in line with specifications and maritime regulations. If you do not have a designer in mind, we can work with you and the yard to suggest a shortlist.
New Build Project Management. Your GYW Project Management Team will be available around the clock throughout the construction of the buyer’s new build acting as a liaison with the shipyard, designers, naval architects and other parties involved. Our goal is to ensure the process is efficient, cost-effective, and according to buyer’s preferences, ensuring the build meets buyer’s full expectations. We will closely monitor the project using the ‘Stage and Gate’ Process ensuring timelines are met and resolve any challenges that may arise.
Sea Trials and Yacht Delivery. Before the yacht is delivered, GYW team of experts will attend the yacht’s sea trials, which is a critical step before the completion and commissioning of the new build project. During the sea trials, our team’s meticulous attention to detail will address any technical issues that need to be resolved before delivering the buyer’s yacht in the best working condition.
After Sales Support. Once new construction is completed, delivered, and documented it is time for the buyer to employ and enjoy the Super/Mega-Yacht. But, even after the yacht is delivered, GYW’s project manager will be available to coordinate necessary guarantee works and services, always securing the yacht owner’s best interests.

Reduced-Zero Carbon Propulsion for Super/Mega-Yachts
Aqua is built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin hydrogen 8 (Electric Propulsion motors) 1,341hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 3,750 nautical miles. Her low draft of makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.
